Prague is soon to welcome the highly anticipated addition of a W Hotel! While the exact opening date remains a mystery, the anticipation is palpable as the city eagerly awaits this new landmark. Nestled within an awe-inspiring building, currently undergoing meticulous restoration, the transformation is nothing short of spectacular.

Located in the heart of the capital, W Prague will open its doors at the former and well-renowned Grand Hotel Evropa. This radical art nouveau-style property pushed boundaries when it opened in 1905 and will do so again with the W brand’s progressive design and innovative spirit. The hotel is a renovation of the former Grand Hotel Evropa and, with its historic structure and lasting elements, will be combined with a new modern oval-shaped extension to create an intriguing blend of old-world glamour and bold new concepts.

Originally built in 1889, the building underwent a significant transformation between 1903 and 1905 when architects Bedrich Bendelmayer and Alois Dryak embraced the Art Nouveau style. The interior, a creation of Bohumil Hubschman, Jan Letzel, and Ladislav Saloun, stands as a testament to their collective genius.

W Prague will offer 161 stylish guestrooms and suites, including the Extreme Wow (Presidential) Suite and multiple exciting restaurants and bars. The new hotel will revive the Grand Cafe, invite thirsty guests to the infamous W Lounge and feature a Rooftop bar with an outdoor terrace. It is set to be the ultimate destination for style-savvy locals and guests to enjoy sweeping cityscape views and a fabulous cocktail and culinary experience.
